Prince of Virtues- Scorned

1Co 4:9  For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as men condemned to death; because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men.

1Co 4:10  We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are prudent in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are distinguished, but we are without honor.

1Co 4:11  To this present hour we are both hungry and thirsty, and are poorly clothed, and are roughly treated, and are homeless;

1Co 4:12  and we toil, working with our own hands; when we are reviled, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure;

1Co 4:13  when we are slandered, we try to conciliate; we have become as the scum of the world, the dregs of all things, even until now.

1Co 4:14  I do not write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.

Paul before this chapter was telling the Corinthians about unity.  He stated their differing views about the leadership: some followed Paul, some followed Apollos, some Peter and some Christ.  He wanted them to follow Christ because they hadn’t been baptized in Paul’s name nor did Apollos die for their sins.  They were being judgmental to the others and so a lesson in humility was in order.  Most of the rest of the chapter is about this lesson.

To the Greeks and Gentiles humility was a despicable trait that only belonged to slaves.  But humility is the only acceptable position for someone who wants to have a relationship with God.  God is so great that we have to humble ourselves before HIM to acknowledge Him and find obedience in our hearts for that greatness, and get saved.  He gives these and other good gifts but they were bragging as if they were their own and hadn’t been given to them.  That they were responsible for them and what they did with them and using them for themselves.  Like some musicians or speakers want to do for profit.  So Paul gives a taste of the life of someone gifted and tells them to imitate him.

God does give good gifts and He makes our lives a heckuva lot better.  He is always sanctifying us and trying to make us better and the point being ultimately to make us perfect.  Many of the people liked the blessings but didn’t want to change in other ways.  Bless yes but hard not so much.  Paul had suffered many hard experiences.  Did he want to?  They were required of him to obey GOD and to keep going.

Some people don’t like change.  When God saved me He gave the hardest challenges I’ve ever faced.  When He said to love my wife or my neighbor or put away anger or immorality I thought I should keep at it.  It’s hard to pull everything up to a higher standard all the time but I keep trying.  We should keep being what God wants as out Pastor Jim says.  It’s a very fulfilling never ending job that is very hard to do.  It is necessary to please God and be effective in our ministries whether we are happy already or not.  But be it all at our own pace. Haha.  It is not necessary to take this into consideration unless you are a Christian already.

Humility is a good thing to get and God does give it.  It is necessary to go through suffering sometimes and God uses this to make us humble.  Don’t we all have to suffer a little once in a while saved or not?  Submitting to it is the best way to cope with suffering.  We can learn how to cope, how to suffer rightly and how to have patience, to wait, to love and we can stand at the end of the day.  At the end of the day hope fully you can stand and say that you have done all you could to walk with God and have been successful or not but you tried.  If we love God, and with the help of the Holy Spirit we can stand.

Paul wanted to go against the grain of his flesh all the time.  He was beaten he forgave.  He was reviled and then he blessed- the last thing in the world you would ever want to do at that time, but the most effective for his witness and example.  His flesh was humbled so he exalted it with godly things.  He made progress to be like Jesus and he won souls to Christ.

Humility is not easy.  There are hard lessons to be learned.  It is the way to get more of God and less of us.  It is just something we should want to do.  Your cells of your body all submit to what the body wants and they work together to make the body alive.  They have decided that the larger purpose is best.  If each cell did whatever it wanted then we wouldn’t survive.  We have humility in us that way, to submit to unity and to God.  If we had one purpose and leader, like Jesus, and followed Him with all our heart we would live forever.

Scented Therapy Of God

1Co 3:16  Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

1Co 3:17  If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.

Please Read.     These two scriptures are the topic of my message that I chose for today.  There are some destructive past times in this life.  But God has made us a home for Him in us who believe.  We will be talking about the Holy Spirit and His place where we are safe and can have joy.

These are very comforting words to us Christians.  We have been told what not to do and what will happen if we do.  We can now go about the obeying and receiving blessing.  The Holy Spirit lives in Christians, filling them and being their sufficiency.  He is God for your daily life.  I know some of you do not understand the very importance and pertinence of Him.  Wait, until you meet Him!

Joh 14:17  that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

Rom 8:11  But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

He is the eternal life that is in us and His many godly qualities are happening in our consciences.  He fills us completely- that God shaped emptiness that we find in life.  I have felt emptiness and never felt complete until getting saved and nothing had really changed, just the presence of GOD.  Your body is all ready to be the temple of the Holy Spirit you just need the Holy Spirit and to repent so that your sin is gone making a proper place, for He is Holy.

1Jn 4:12  No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.

1Co 6:18  Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body.

I can tell you that this scripture is true.  Immorality will separate you from God.  I had too many sexual relationships even as a Christian and by the end of the last one I was really torn apart.  I entered a nine year depression, was all by myself, didn’t go to church and was confused so that my mind was very distracted all the time.  Then one day God brought me back.

Eze 5:11  Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

God left them or at least He stopped talking to them.  They had 400 years of silence- no prophets, no guidance, and no love.  They knew to hang in there but their hearts got so hard.  That is the state you find yourselves in now.  No GOD.  We still have all the cravings of the flesh to fight, and it will end in disaster, if we don’t find Jesus or if HE doesn’t find us.

So don’t tear your bodies apart with immorality or drugs and alcohol.  Don’t be angry with yourselves if you do.  Jesus can fix it.  Drugs and alcohol sure will tear you up but, Christians have hope and are improving all the time.  Jesus is not your worst nightmare.  He is the best thing that ever happened to you.  And HE loves you:

Joh 14:21  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Joh 15:9  As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

Joh 15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

Joh 15:13  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Rom 8:35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

No, nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.  Not from the results of His death or from His active concern.  But you have to be in Him to know it’s there.  So if you are having any of these things, know that God is greater and that His fullness is greater.  You may still have to suffer a little, but You can overcome the world as Jesus did with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Boast or Bragg

1Co 1:29  so that no man may boast before God.

1Co 1:30  But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,

1Co 1:31  so that, just as it is written, “LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD.”

Some people may boast about their accomplishments or wisdom but they have no right.  No man may boast about himself because as we said before God is nullifying the things that are.  Whatever man is at the top of his field, God has made life so that only He will receive the glory.  Man’s works have been nullified by the way He has made things.

Why do we not boast?  God is the only wisdom the only power and the greatest at both.  It is arrogant to think that we can measure up, that we can be on the same level.  Man wants to be god.  He says, ‘Look what we’ve done, too, God aren’t we gods just like you said?’ Rather they are just trying to take over the earth and the universe and exclude God completely.  That’s arrogant.  Instead we should be humble and let God be God and we should be ourselves- without power.

Why be humble you say?  Because God wants us to understand who He is and who we are.  God is all powerful and omniscient.  We cannot possibly compare to Him.  He made us and the earth and universe and we having humble gifts are no match for God and the world prepares for the sudden withdrawal of God from us!

Vs.30:  Christians are united in His body physically, spiritually and the Church is His body.  We are united with God as the head.  The rest of the verse…..  Do you admit these things? : that God is wisdom.  He has given us His righteousness.  He sanctifies us more and more and makes us holy.  He has won our redemption by Christ’s death on the Cross.  His death paid for our sins we are no longer guilty of them.  If you do admit them, you are close to God’s salvation.

These things are the Lord’s work like salvation, God is all wise and we have wisdom because of Him.  He is all love and because of this we can love.  God has even made a place for boasters.  There are some, who can boast in the Lord.  In what He has done and what He is doing teaching us His Word, to love and to forgive.  He teaches us the truth and where it may be found.  We have learned who to listen to and to not be deceived by anyone.

Do you want wisdom?  Do you feel despised?  Is the world not enough?  Is it weak?  You can take the changes you need.  You can accept redemption.  You can ask God into your heart and give your life to Him!  Repent of your sins, seek forgiveness, be sorry!  God, Jesus is enough.  You can have a life worth living and an honorable one.  No matter where you have been or what you have done.  God can lift you up to being something live again.

God has done it this way- the only way and no other life will produce eternal life of the enjoyable kind- that is what the Bible says.  God is alone good, merciful, love.  He made Jesus wisdom and redemption for us.  You have a choice but it is only through Jesus.  All philosophies and religions are an illusion.  This is the Way of Salvation.  Trusting in Jesus life, death, words for the forgiveness of sins is the way to go.

Dedicated to Todd Rundgren

I want to read to you in the next few weeks 1 COR1:18-31.  It has some good things about God, people and their interrelations that I think you will like.  So let’s start by reading 1:18 NASB.

Co 1:18  For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Why are we truly Gentiles?

Paul knew how important the word of the cross was- is!  It was all he spoke of.  He preached this to the Gentiles- it was the main point, God’s wisdom.  It was GOD’s plan- that seemed so simple, so obviously not like the wisdom of the world.  But it is the only way.  God didn’t want to be like man with logic and reasoning.  He could have made it any way He wanted.  He did what pleased Him and since it is the only workable system we have, it makes mans so called great ideas of no effect.

The gospel says that the way to be or think… the truth is, that Christ died for us and that’s what makes living worthwhile.  That is what gives us a reward.  All the complicated rationale in the world won’t make God pleased with us if we have not believed in His SON.  Not cleverness of speech or understanding of Freud or Jung no one else but Jesus.   Listen to what the wise old man did:

An old man had just retired after 30 years at his job.  He moved to a new town by a junior high school.  When the new term began the kids from the school went home his way and they banged on every garbage can they could find.  They made music or just a lot of noise.  So he said I have to do something for these kids.

He got together with them and told them ‘I’ll give you a dollar a day to do this and to do your thing each day you go home from school’.  They said, ‘Great we could use a dollar each’.  So it keeps going for awhile and then the man says, ‘Well inflation is taking its toll on my income and I think I can only give you kids $.50 a day from now on.  They were kind of mad but they said ‘OK better than nothing.’

In a couple more weeks he had to tell them ‘Guys- I have not got my Social Security check yet so how about only $.25 a day.  I’m sorry that’s the best I can do.’  They said Twenty-five cents?!  We won’t do all that work for $.25.  We quit!’

No one but Gods Son, and if we could stop thinking that man is so great  because God loves us and supports us…  But God loves us because we are not so good, because we make mistakes because all manner of evil is happening right now.  We need a savior to save us from our mistakes, sins and that evil.  God has provided one for us, that if we should believe on His Son, JESUS, we will not perish but have everlasting life.

Some of you would agree that Christ is so hard to grasp and that giving up our sin is so empty that we just can’t consider it.  What else do some of us have but the pleasures we are holding on to.  We think that to give that up would make us totally destitute of all good feelings and familiarity.  But it’s not, what God has designed is the power of God.  The word of God is the power of God.  The Cross is the power of God.  Forgiveness is the power of God.  He made it that way.  It works over every obstacle that God had to …  God wants justice He gave us payment.  He paid the price for our sins and won’t punish us in the judgment on the last day.  The government might!

Christ’s death paid for our sins, they are forgiven now when we ask for it.  It is not in the understanding of science that leads anywhere good.  It is in believing on Jesus, the forgiver of our sins.  Scientific knowledge is fine and knowing all about the workings of the universe.  If you make it the most important thing though and not the God of the Bible then it is going to be a problem after you die.  That is what Jesus taught us about the after- life.  We need to obey Him if we want a reward in the after- life.  We don’t have to give up everything to get it, just a few things.  We don’t ruin our lives to get a reward.  We suffer a little but it has its rewards even here.  This life is only a short testing ground to see if we want all eternity to enjoy.  A little work and self denial, letting God make us holy and living like Christ.  He never complained about HIS life.

READ vs. 19.

It is not about our cleverness or ‘the wisdom’ of man.  It is about what God has done and what Jesus has done on the cross.   God is making us have one way, one life, one judgment, one heaven and one hell.  He made this aspect of it but we still have a choice and He is calling you to understand and to live.  Calling us to let HIM do this and enjoy the ride.  Don’t run off and commit something terrible because HE has this life for you.  Be grateful for what is coming- complete bliss with your loving heavenly Father.  No sin, no pain, no sorrow.

God is the intelligent designer and the intelligentsia.  He knows us better than we know ourselves.  He loves each of us deeply for exactly who we are.  He wants us with Him in heaven to see the fruits of His labor.  When we get there we will have something to be overjoyed about. Listen to your conscience.  A conscience is what hurts when all the other parts feel good.

I was doing a little studying the other day and I found this scripture.  Then I did a search on the word ‘bear’ and found a lot of interesting verses that I put into an evangelistic message.  Here it is:

Rom 15:1  We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

Lev 5:17  And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wish it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

People who are not saved are in the Old Testament and are subject to the Law and its punishments by God.  They have no Messiah, no forgiveness and no reward.  You have a Messiah if you believe in the true Messiah, Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross.  You have to bear your iniquity when it is not forgiven, what you have done.  You bear your guilt and iniquity.

Joh 3:18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

It is like being found guilty of a crime.  Not just feeling guilty.  Jesus death though, paid the price for that crime and He and the Father forgive the crime and take away the guilt for the crime.  We are subject to the laws of the land for judgment for a crime too.

Lev 16:22  And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

The goat bore the sins in the Old Testament sometimes in the Old Testament.  Jesus is the scapegoat.  He took on Himself all the sins of the people- Jews, Gentiles outside the camp.  Something or someone had to, ‘for there is no remission of sin w/o the shedding of blood.’  The goat was sent out into the wilderness and to die by the wild beasts and never to be heard of again.   A type of Christ- because God’s forgiveness makes forgotten all sins previously confessed.

Isa 1:14  Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.   God was willing to bear them but weary and He did, until Jesus came and died.

Isa 7:14  Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Mary bore a Son, the Messiah he was to hold the sins of man and they were many, and he was the sacrifice.  God carried us and all our sinfulness until Jesus came.  Freed God too.

Isa 46:4  And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

God made us, He bore us and He carried us everyday such a load that the hairs on His back got gnarly and irritating and harsh.  He even went so far as to deliver us, think of that love- so willing, so sacrificing.

The Jewish Israelis claim to be followers of Moses and God.  They continue to sin like everybody else, but they have no more sacrifice for sin. No prophets, no priests and no sacrifice.  No animals to bear their sin, no Messiah.  But they call themselves righteous.

We, Christians, are forgiven, we don’t have to bear our guilt.  We repent and are forgiven because of what Jesus did on the cross.  We have found that we can use our strength for better things than resisting God’s conviction and fighting our guilt because guilt is not of the Lord.  We admit we are wrong and we know that God deals with it justly and mercifully.  God is gentle and lowly in heart, He wants us to have a relationship with HIM.  He wants us to admit we are wrong when we are and come to Him for forgiveness.  He wants us to talk about our sin and find a way to stop it.  He wants us to do good instead and to Love Him this way.  This is what He wants, what Christ died for and is the source of your life in Him.

That brings us back to  Rom 15:1  We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

Rom 15:2  Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

Rom 15:3  For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

We have been made free.  Now we can help other people to get over their sin, their burdens and whatever is keeping them from being free and whole.  For their betterment, to get closer to God and to be able to carry their own weight when they are able.  Not pleasing ourselves because we are already complete in the Lord and ready for a reward in heaven.  Most of us have persecutions and reproaches and holiness issues that we need help with.

Gal 5:10  I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.   The guy now or in the New Testament preaching a false gospel and promoting division is still having to bear his guilt.

Gal 6:2  Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

But again we are free and can have a ministry to others Christian or not.  But the key is becoming Christian.   Heb 9:28  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.   Jesus is still there to bear our sins and will come again to receive us to salvation.  Mat 8:17  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Jesus Christ even bears our sicknesses with us, leading us.

And lastly   Rom 8:26  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

We have help with our infirmities from the Holy Spirit of GOD.  We are not stuck in them and bearing the weight of guilt and squirming a little under the weight.  The scriptures can lead to freedom and Jesus calls it free indeed.  We have leading from God! And from other experienced people, so we can help others in the ways I have stated.

STAND FIRM for the Crown of Life

So what I do is search a word in the Bible and look at the different meanings and uses, get some scriptures and write about what the scripture says to me.  Of course it has to be helpful and useful, ministering and about a subject I know a little about and I think all people need.  The last message I did could be treated as the lighter side of doubt.  Seeing doubts role in Peter falling into the water after walking on it and being afraid of the wind and other small things about doubt.  This one is more about how to defeat doubt.

Deu 28:66  And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:

Gen 37:33  And he knew it, and said, It is my son’s coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces.

Mat 14:31  And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Mat 21:21  Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Mat 21:22  And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Deuteronomy 28:66 is a form of doubt, where the people will be unsure of their fate because of their enemies.  GOD wanted them to obey the law in totality and if they didn’t, calamity would strike.  In the Book of Judges this happened often- an enemy would oppress the people and they would be unsure of God until He rescued them with another savior-type-judge.

In the next scripture Jacob was sure of Joseph’s demise he had no doubt.  Doubt appears only three times in the Old Testament.  In the law and in Job, then it is seen 10 times in the New Testament.  Seems like it should be a lot more often concerning what a problem it is now.  The appearances of the word are more important in the NT.  Remember it is belief that is faith and carries us through our lives close to God.

Mat.14:31 is the example of Peter’s lack of faith on the water.  The next two after this one, from above, is from a fig tree.  Jesus was in Jerusalem walking to the temple in His passion week you could say.  He saw a fig tree afar off and hoped to get some fruit on it.  When He got there it had none, so He cursed it.  He was hungry so He said let no more fruit grow on you forever and it dried up.  The apostles asked about it and He used this as an opportunity to teach them about doing miracles.  He didn’t hate the tree but wanted to teach them about what it took to do miracles, about prayer and believing.

The apostles did miracles, they were the only ones other than Jesus pretty much.  They knew what it took and witnessed Jesus doing many, many of them.  We have not witnessed a miracle most of us and we are many generations of faith since Jesus did them.  That might be why every believer is not out healing and calming storms.  We think there are some still happening though.  We have heard of a few even in our own prayer group- God helping others and healing diseases, etc.

Luk 11:20  But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.

If doubt is being taught then ‘no doubt’ should be taught too.  If doubt is the way to fail then no doubt is the way to do great things.  If God could cast out demons then and we can cast them out by having faith then we can know the kingdom of God is here, then and now.  Jesus brought it in then by being here and proving His God Head by doing miracles.  Our freedom now makes us know also what Jesus has done in our lives.

But to get to my point:  Remember when Jesus talked about Himself being the true bread and drink.  He said He was the Bread that came down from Heaven and the Bread of Life?  Many of the people did want to eat His body or drink His blood and they left.  Jesus explained to them that it was spiritual, but they still had to leave.

The disciples were asked by Him do you also want to go?  But they said where shall we go you have the words of eternal life!

When we have doubt from a trial we can’t handle.  When we are tested and our pain seems awesome and we want to leave the church.  We should think like the apostles did in that last story.  Jesus asked them ‘Do you want to leave also?’   and Peter answered where shall we go Lord only you have the words of eternal life.  That is a game stopper.  Think about it after following Jesus and being so blessed and impulsively we want to leave.  WHERE Shall we go? – Who can compare to Jesus?  Will flesh or sex or drinking or drugs compare to Jesus?  Will our sinful flesh ever be drowned of our sorrows.  If nothing can separate us from God’s love then how can one bad trial.  Look ahead where can we go?

If we are fighting doubt we should study, pray, fellowship, believe.  Many people do leave but that doesn’t mean you have to!  There are many proofs of Jesus- the archaeological, the scientific, the historical, and especially the spiritual and belief has to take over to complete faith.  So study these from a Christian viewpoint because the world can’t see it.  So why would you ask them.  But God can and will help you if you want it, salvation that is.

Trials separate the men and women from the boys and girls.  We do get tests to strengthen our faith.  They are not meant to wipe us out.  What is worth losing eternal life for?  Is it short term pleasure again?  We know where that leads already!  Will that comfort you?  The real comfort is in Jesus.  Hang On!  So that the last place of that man is not worse than the first.

A Visit from Jesus

Be of good cheer, it is I, be not afraid. Have you ever laughed with Jesus over something He said. Have you ever enjoyed the company of the King of Kings. He was really good to me on Sunday and dwelt with me, but not me but, who He is in me. He selfied me and who He is said to my cell: Not much but He just listened while I tried to be myself and it was very encouraging even though I shared some negative stuff for awhile. But the love we shared as we tarried there as the song goes ‘no other has ever known’. This might be a Bible verse but if it is another person has experienced this. Someone famous- a Bible character maybe David. But I looked it up and maybe it was just the authors words to the song. See I’m not the only one; maybe someone near has had a close encounter like this with the Savior. He is so personable and automatically close when you meet Him. It took alot of prayer and being Holy before He – then, He just started talking to me while praying, because it is said if you listen He will.
So I think the chosen , well I didn’t want to show weakness while the master was creating this as I broke down in my understanding of His ways while I waited for Him to continue. And then He left. But I had a promise that God will never leave us or forsake us. So I knew it was only temporary. But I had a very nice time and felt relieved of all my temporal trials for a while. It is in being with Jesus that our situation starts looking up. The stress leaves and we are strengthened and ready to go on on our own again.
Ah He is so good to be with and spend time with as we do and He wants us to be ourselves and get to know us. When He does get to know us He acts differently than at first. In my experience He does minister to the poor and needy. He fills us with His love and caring, is patient with our humanness and gives superabundantly with what we need. Kindness is His forte’ and love is what he shows making us strong as He is lowly of heart and boosts my confidence any way. He plays a little and almost laughs and understands. Is so gentle in getting me to go forward and not fear and to know He will do it to an extent. When I am filled to the brim with everything thing he is in His presence, He leads and guides and sets me off in a new direction and goes until I can manage.
I was praying how can I reach them I’m out of stuff and here it is some new life in Jesus and a whole congregation of new ideas. He shames me actually He is so giving and has to repeat the obvious to get me moving. I wish He would just take me out of this mess we call earth and let me start over again in a perfect world. He will one day. That world where the streets are gold but more importantly where there is no pain or suffering or hurt. You know perfect, where we can all be perfect and without bonds. A heaven where we have all knowledge at our fingertips and all light and love in and through us where everybody benefits.
Most of all where the Master is so beautiful and accessible and giving and free that we all benefit. We get a part of Him now and most later and the love just keeps happening. The Master is so great that the praise and adoration don’t stop and His being is never quenched and our longings for Him are never not satisfied yet just keep growing to ever new heights. His reign will never be contested because He is the perfect leader, the only one and has no enemies.
The mansions are no junk, better than Trumps Florida Estate. I hope there are planetary shooting ranges and Galactic travel arrangements, the best kitchens because Jesus ate after he rose and we are going to eat forever. Only the best from Jesus, who had such love for us to sacrifice His own Son, the Father did, and He will therefore freely give us all things. If we accept Him, love Him and obey Him. He is perfect we can trust Him. The Jesus we experience on earth is the same Jesus in heaven and He is worthy of our praises.
